This 32″ LED from Vizio can be summed up with the following phrase:  Awesome Picture, Bad Sound.   Now, before you turn away there are few of ways to get around the bad sound issue, and I’ll go over those in just a bit.  For the price this (last time I looked it was around $360) 32″ LED is actually a bargain.

Vizio 320VP Features:

The Vizio 320VP core features are an LED edge-lit panel at 720P HD, a nice dynamic contrast ratio at 100,000:1 and a very thin depth at 1.3 inches.  Beyond that, there really not much else to boast about.  This is an LED meant for those who want more clarity than their LCD or Plasma could offer them.  It’s great for small living rooms, bed rooms, dens and RV’s.  If you’re looking for a 32″ LED from Vizio that offers full 1080P HD and Internet apps like Netflix, YouTube and Pandora then check out the 320VP’s big brother: The Vizio XVT323SV

OK, on to the sound issue.  Owners have said that the sound is pretty bad…like really bad, however it’s easily fixed by:

A.  Hooking into a surround sound system (if you currently have one in your home).

B.  Buying a pair of $20 computer speakers and plugging them into the SPDIF Digital Optical Output (the little green computer speaker hole on the back).

C.  Set the equalizer to anything else but the default setting.

Personally, I’d go with A or B.

So, for about 380 bucks you can get 32″ LED that looks great and (thanks to another audio source) sounds great.  Aside from the obvious sound issues the Vizio 320vp sounds like a bargain  to me!

Intelligent Sensor – automatically changes your image settings depending on the lighting conditions in the room to get you the best possible picture.  It’s accurate, automatic and awesome.  Big time saver.

AV Mode – is basically 3 pre-defined picture settings that adjusts your 32LE5300 to get the best color, sound and brightness for cinema, sports or games.

24P Real Cinema – I haven’t really seen this option on many TV’s, but it is really cool.  When you go to the theater you are watching a movie at 24 frames per second.  When you watch a DVD/Blu-Ray movie on a typical TV you’re seeing 30 frames a second.  The 24P Real Cinema feature on this TV automatically adjusts your movie to the way it was meant to be seen (which is 24 frames a second)!  I’ve seen 2 movies in this mode and this makes a big difference.  You really feel like your watching the movie on a theater screen.  It’s just something you have to see.

Clear Voice 2 – stop trying to hear what someone said.  Clear Voice 2 automatically detects dialog and enhances it so you won’t be needing those subtitles anymore!
